We are looking for a Surface Treatment Project Manager specializing in KTL (Kathodische
Tauchlackierung or Cathodic Electrocoat) to be responsible for overseeing the entire electrocoating.

Key Responsibilities

Process Oversight:

• Manage and supervise the entire KTL process, from pre-treatment to final cure.
• Monitor process parameters, including voltage, current density, bath temperature, and
chemical concentrations, to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Supervision of line design in Italy
• Supervision of line production in Italy.

Quality Assurance:

• Implement quality control procedures to guarantee the highest level of coating quality and
adherence to industry standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and testing to ensure that products meet or exceed customer
specifications.

Team Leadership:

• Recruit, train, and manage a team of technicians and operators responsible for the KTL
process.
• Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the team.

Equipment Maintenance:

• Oversee maintenance schedules for KTL equipment, including rectifiers, anodes, tanks, and
filtration systems.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure timely repairs and replacements.

Enviromental and Safety Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations related to waste disposal, chemical
usage, and air emissions.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working
environment.

Inventory and Supply Chain Management:

• Monitor chemical usage and maintain an inventory of required KTL chemicals, ensuring an
uninterrupted supply chain.
• Coordinate with procurement teams to source chemicals and equipment in a cost-effective
manner.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of process parameters, quality checks, and inventory levels.
• Generate reports on process performance, efficiency, and quality metrics for management
review.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency
improvements.
• Implement changes and track the impact on key performance indicators.

Training and Development:

• Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the KTL team, keeping them
updated on best practices and new technologies.

Candidate:

• Proven experience in surface treatment processes, with a strong focus on KTL.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in managing a team.
• In-depth knowledge of KTL equipment, chemicals, and associated technologies.
• Familiarity with environmental and safety regulations in the electrocoating industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Equipment Operation and Maintenance.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining KTL equipment, such as rectifiers, anodes, tanks,
  and filtration systems.
• Experience in implementing and managing quality control procedures to ensure the highest
  coating quality and compliance with industry standards.

  improvements, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Expertise in implementing and enforcing safety protocols to maintain a safe working
  environment for the team.
